Welcome to the Norton Festival website that celebrates all things festival associated with the village of Norton sub Hamdon in Somerset. Norton sub Hamdon is a small village of less than a thousand and is one of the beautiful Ham stone villages of South Somerset that nestle under and around Ham Hill, now a Country Park, from which the iconic Ham stone has been quarried for centuries.
Though small in population, Norton sub Hamdon has much in its favour and enjoys a rich community spirit. It has a beautiful village church, friendly pub, good school and a convenient Community Shop. It is also on a public transport route..
You will find on this site reports and other interesting facts and information concerning the village plus notices of events to come and a Diary.
So do enjoy exploring nortonfestival.org and gain a flavour of our village.
